At different stage of process during the production of Pentane & N Hexane, a intermediate fraction is collected which is mainly a mixture of impure Pentane and Hexane majorly and blended to satisfies end user requirement in paint and thinner industry to get cheaper hydrocarbon solvent, this product is name under Pentane 50.

As and when specific requirement of Petroleum Ether is received and alternate or equivalent mixture of above pentane and hexane stream is so formulated to give boiling point result of required specification of 40 60 and vice versa with 50 70, the indicator 40 60 and 50 70 , is nothing but define the range of boiling point of blend of pentane and hexane stream with some addition of specific fraction from pentane and hexane production process, and satisfies specification of end user mainly this product is name under Petroleum Ether 40 60 and Petroleum Ether 50 70.

Similarly other product Pentane CP-IP-95 & Pentane CP-IP-75 is produce by distillation of crude Cyclopentane and formulated with Pentane to required specification to satisfy end user requirement in appliance industry.
